Casa do Souto is an enchanting building from the fifteenth century that has been expanded and recuperated throughout the time. Located in a privileged location in the emblematic village of Soajo in Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês, this house allows us to contemplate a splendid view over the valleys, where the small streams of water and the cattle are a fundamental part of this fabulous landscape.
The house is named after its location ´Souto de Barrios´, and has always belonged to the family of the current owner.
To better receive its guests, Casa do Souto has been divided into two independent buildings ( Casa Grande and Casa Pequena). Casa do Souto has been totally recovered and adapted to receive its guests with all comfort and convenience, inviting those who visit it to enjoy the best this region has to offer.
The village of Soajo has a vast architectonic and natural heritage. It is the ideal starting point to discover the delights of the Soajo Valleys and Peneda-Gerês, the rich gastronomy and the archaeological heritage.
